SSC चार चरणों में SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) की परीक्षा का आयोजन करती है: Tier-1, Tier-2, Tier-3 और Tier-4 परीक्षा। जहां आपको SSC CGL posts के हिसाब से प्रत्येक चरण को उत्तीर्ण करना होता है|

एसएससी SSC CGL Exam Pattern Tier – 2

◆ SSC CGL Tier-1 परीक्षा ऑनलाइन आयोजित की जाएगी जिसमें 4 भाग होंगे और कुल मिलाकर लगभग 100 प्रश्न होंगे। प्रत्येक प्रश्न में आपको चार विकल्प दिए जायेंगे जिसमे से केवल एक ही विकल्प सही होगा (Multiple Choice Questions)|

● आपके द्वारा दिए गए हर एक गलत उत्तर के लिए आपके 0.5 अंक काट दिए जायेंगे|

● SSC CGL Tier-I की परीक्षा के लिए आपको अधिकतम 60 मिनट दिए जायेंगे| वहीं शारीरिक रूप से विकलांग छात्रों (दृष्टिहीन छात्रों एवं Cerebral Palsy से पीड़ित छात्रों के लिए) को 80 मिनट का समय दिया जाता है।

● केवल वही उम्मीदवार SSC CGL टियर-2 परीक्षा के लिए उपस्थित हो सकते हैं जिन्होंने टियर-1 की परीक्षा को उत्तीर्ण किया होता है|

● SSC CGL Tier-2 की परीक्षा भी ऑनलाइन आयोजित की जाती है और इसमें भी प्रत्येक प्रश्न के लिए आपको 4 विकल्प दिए जायेंगे जिसमे से केवल एक ही विकल्प सही होगा (Multiple Choice Questions)

● एसएससी सीजीएल Tier-2 परीक्षा के अंतर्गत चार पेपर शामिल हैं|

  1.    Paper 1 – Quantitative Ability
  2.    Paper 2 – English Language and Comprehension
  3.    Paper 3 – Statistics

SSC CGL Tier – III

● एसएससी सीजीएल टियर-III परीक्षा एक वर्णनात्मक पेपर/ descriptive paper है जिसे ऑफलाइन आयोजित किया जाता है| मतलब के आपको इस परीक्षा को पूरा करने केलिए पेन और पेपर का उपयोग करना पड़ेगा जैसा के किसी स्कूल बोर्ड अथवा कॉलेज की परीक्षाओं में आपने किया हुआ है|

● SSC CGL Tier-3 की परीक्षा दो भाषाओं में होती है हिंदी और English, आपको इनमे से किसी एक भाषा को चुनना होगा इस परीक्षा में बैठने से पहले| हिंदी और अंग्रेजी के अलावा अभ्यर्थी किसी अन्य क्षेत्रीय भाषा का चयन नहीं कर सकते हैं।

● इस परीक्षा द्वारा उम्मीदवारों की भाषा कुशलता, व्याकरण ज्ञान, शब्दावली उपयोग और लेखन कौशल का परीक्षण अंग्रेजी अथवा हिंदी में किया जाता है।

● Tier-3 की परीक्षा 100 अंको की होती है जिसे पूरा करने के लिए आपको मात्र 60 मिनट का समय दिया जाता है| PWD श्रेणी से संबंधित उम्मीदवारों के लिए आवंटित समय 80 मिनट है।

SSC CGL Tier-4 Exam मूल रूप से कंप्यूटर कौशल परीक्षण है जिसमें आपके दो तरह के परीक्षण शामिल हैं|

  1. Data Entry Skill Test (DEST)
  2. Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)

Data Entry Skill Test (DEST)

DEST उन अभ्यर्थियों को देना अनिवार्य है जिन्होंने CBIC (Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs) और CBDT (Central Board of Direct Taxes) विभाग में Tax Assistant की पोस्ट के लिए आवेदन किया है|

◆ Data Entry Skill Test को qualify करने केलिए आपको अंग्रेजी भाषा में कंप्यूटर पर 15 मिनट के निर्धारित समय में 2000 शब्दों का लिखना आवश्यक है। यह आपके कंप्यूटर में टाइप करने की गति का परीक्षण करता है|

General Intelligence & Reasoning

It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc.

The topics are, Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/ Number Analogy, Figural Analogy, Semantic Classification, Symbolic/ Number Classification, Figural Classification, Semantic Series, Number Series, Figural Series, Problem Solving, Word Building, Coding & de-coding, Numerical Operations, symbolic Operations, Trends, Space Orientation, Space Visualization, Venn Diagrams, Drawing inferences, Punched hole/ pattern- folding & un-folding, Figural Pattern- folding and completion, Indexing, Address matching, Date & city matching, Classification of centre codes/roll numbers, Small & Capital letters/ numbers coding, decoding and classification, Embedded Figures, Critical thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Social Intelligence, Other sub-topics, if any. General Awareness

Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates‟ general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Policy & Scientific Research. 

Quantitative Aptitude

The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. The scope of the test will be computation of whole numbers, decimals, fractions and relationships between numbers, Percentage. Ratio & Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Alligation, Time and distance, Time & Work, Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra & Elementary surds, Graphs of Linear Equations, Triangle and its various kinds of centres, Congruence and similarity of triangles, Circle and its chords, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle, common tangents to two or more circles, Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Circle, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square base, Trigonometric ratio, Degree and Radian Measures, Standard Identities, Complementary angles, Heights and Distances, Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar diagram & Pie chart.

English Comprehension

Candidates‟ ability to understand correct English, his/ her basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested.

SSC CGL Syllabus Tier – II

◆ Paper-I (Quantitative Abilities): The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. The scope of the test will be the computation of whole numbers, decimals, fractions and relationships between numbers, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Alligation, Time and distance, Time & Work, Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra & Elementary surds, Graphs of Linear Equations, Triangle and its various kinds of centres, SSC CGL Syllabus 2022

 Congruence and similarity of triangles, Circle and its chords, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle, common tangents to two or more circles, Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Circle, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square base, Trigonometric ratio, Degree and Radian Measures, Standard Identities, Complementary angles, Heights and Distances, Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar diagram & Pie chart.

◆ Paper-II (English Language and Comprehension): Questions in this component will be designed to test the candidate‟s understanding and knowledge of English Language and will be based on spot the error, fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, spelling/ detecting misspelled words, idioms & phrases, one word substitution, improvement of sentences, active/ passive voice of verbs, conversion into direct/ indirect narration, shuffling of sentence parts, shuffling of sentences in a passage, cloze passage & comprehension passage. 

◆ Paper-III (Statistics)

● Collection, Classification and Presentation of Statistical Data – Primary and Secondary data, Methods of data collection; Tabulation of data; Graphs and charts; Frequency distributions; Diagrammatic 
presentation of frequency distributions.
● Measures of Central Tendency- Common measures of central tendency – mean median and mode; Partition values- quartiles, deciles, percentiles.

◆ Moments, Skewness and Kurtosis – Different types of moments and their relationship; meaning of skewness and kurtosis; different measures of skewness and kurtosis.
◆ Correlation and Regression – Scatter diagram; simple correlation coefficient; simple regression lines; Spearman‟s rank correlation; Measures of association of attributes; Multiple regression; Multiple and partial correlation (For three variables only).
◆ Probability Theory – Meaning of probability; Different definitions of probability; Conditional probability; Compound probability; Independent events; Bayes‟ theorem.

Confidence intervals.
◆ Analysis of Variance – Analysis of one-way classified data and two-way classified data.

SSC CGL Syllabus Skill Test

● For the post of Tax Assistants (Central Excise & Income Tax): Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) at 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depression per hour on Computer.
● The “Data Entry Speed Test” Skill Test will be conducted for a passage of about 2000 (two thousand) key depressions for a duration of 15 (fifteen) minutes. This test will be of qualifying nature. 
● Computers for the test will be provided by the Commission at the Centre/ venue notified for the purpose. The Skill Test will be held at the Commission‟s Regional/ Sub-Regional Offices or at other Centres as may be decided by the commission. Detailed instructions regarding Skill Test will be sent by the Regional/ Sub Regional Offices of the Commission to eligible candidates declared qualified for appearing in Skill Test. Information about evaluation of Typing Test/ DEST are available on the Commission‟s website https:\\ssc.nic.in (Candidate‟s Corner).
◆ The Skill test will be conducted in the manner decided by the Commission for the purpose. 
◆ OH candidates opting for the post of Tax Assistant in CBDT are exempted for appearing in Skill Test. OH candidates opting for post of Tax Assistant in CBEC are not exempted from Skill Test. HH and VH candidates are not eligible for exemption from the Skill Test.
